The purpose of this analyis is to evaluate the effects of vitamin C to tooth growth of Guinea's pig with different combinations of supplement type and dosage.

The purpose of this simulation is to compare the theoretical mean and the theoretical variance of the exponential distribution with the sample mean and the sample variance of the sampling distribution of the mean. Additionally it will be shown that this sampling distribution is approximately normal thanks to the Central Limit Theorem.

The analysis takes in account the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) database that tracks the effects of wheather events in terms of fatalities and injuries (public health damages) and in terms of property and crop damages (economical damages). The purpose of the analsys is to address the following questions: 1. Across the United States, which types of events (as indicated in the EVTYPE variable) are most harmful with respect to population health? 2. Across the United States, which types of events have the greatest economic consequences? The analysis starts by retrieving the total numbers of fatalities, injuries, property damages and crop damages for each weather event across the United States. After that the same analysis is performed but also grouping by region (`West`, `Midwest`, `South`, `NorthEast`) to verify if the results are different.
