Data Science Specialization Capstone Project - Milestone Report

The purpose of this analysis is to study the impact of different meteorological phenomena on human health as well as their economic consequences. The data used for the analysis has been collected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The database contains information of all major weather events between the years 1950-2011. The data describes the events characteristics, duration, associated injuries or fatalities, and economic damage among others factors.
