Este documento presenta el análisis de criminalidad realizado con la base de datos USArrests de RStudio, como parte de un taller de regresión para la empresa Global Risk Analytics Corp. Se aplicó estadística descriptiva, gráficos exploratorios y modelos de regresión lineal simple y múltiple para explicar los arrestos por agresión (Assault) a partir de los asesinatos, la población urbana y las violaciones. Se interpretaron coeficientes, R cuadrado, significancia estadística, se evaluaron supuestos del modelo y se realizó una predicción para un estado hipotético. El informe concluye que el modelo múltiple es válido y útil para la toma de decisiones en análisis de riesgo territorial.
