Tabby's Star
Plots using published data from the Kepler satellite telescope, showing that Tabby's star isn't just sporadically dimming, but has been getting more or less steadily dimmer for the last three years. Starting over the last few days, large SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) radio telescopes in Australia have been trained on Tabby's Star, hoping to pick up signs of technologically advanced alien life.
