This midterm project focuses on analyzing and developing a predictive model using a non-linear regression approach, based on a dataset of population growth rates for all provinces in Indonesia from 1971 to 2024. The analysis aims to identify long-term population growth patterns, evaluate the suitability of non-linear models for demographic time-series data, and generate prediction estimates that provide insights into future population trends. Through this assignment, students are expected to understand population dynamics, select an appropriate non-linear model, assess model performance, and interpret the predictive results in a systematic and scientific manner.
