This submission contains an RMarkdown-based data story analysing Australia’s 2025 House of Representatives first-preference votes using the official Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) dataset. The report explores national primary vote shares, major political blocs (Labor, Coalition, Greens, Minor Parties), vote swings, and seat-level performance indicators. Visualisations include bar charts, bloc comparisons, swing analysis, and contestation summaries. The work highlights the growing fragmentation of Australia’s electoral landscape and provides insights into emerging multi-party voting patterns.
