Purple areas are those located in San Diego City while green areas are those located in San Diego County. Each marker is the location of a SDCCE Campus. This map uses PUMA20 lines.

SWE values are presented in percent of normal, relative to the maximum accumulation for each season from 1995 - 2024. These percentages of normal are "interim" values because the snowfall season is still in progress.

These visualizations were created to help understand the relationship between disadvantaged neighborhoods and gun violence in NYC. My project is being presented at the 2025 ESS Conference. I have a PowerPoint that goes with these visualizations along with a research paper explaining the connection between heightened gun violence and disadvantaged neighborhoods.
