The purpose of this map is to show the shifting levels of green space in New York City from 1985 to 2020. Using data from Landsat 5 for the 1985 imagery as well as Landsat 8 for modern data, I will use the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Layers to showcase the shifting levels of greenspace in select New York City neighborhoods, and assess its relationship to median income of the selected neighborhoods.
