This article analyzes the growth rates of regional breweries in 2020-2021 and the beer styles that are driving their success. By analyzing data from the Brewers Association Production dataset and Untappd, we aim to provide insights into the strategies and styles that have led to success for these breweries.

This discusses the use of Untappd, a social networking app designed for beer enthusiasts, in analyzing and comparing the beer production of four highly-regarded breweries in the Cincinnati area. I used web scraping as the methodology to collect data on the breweries' top 25 most popular beers, focusing on the beer styles, alcohol content, number of reviews, and scores to identify potential differences and patterns among the selected breweries. The analysis shows that there are differences in the brewing styles across the four breweries, but all have relatively high average scores, reflecting their high-quality beer production.
