As terrorism is concerned, no one could ignore the worldwide impact sept 2001 had. Indeed, were people asked about a date in history to mark a new era of terrorism, 2001 would be certainly selected. Apart from the unquestionable emotional, political and socio-cultural significance 9/11 had, can we safely assume that this date was a turning point for the impact and the conception itself of terrorism? And if it so, in which way and for what reasons?
