In this report we aim to identify the weather events that have caused the most harm to public health and economic impact. To investigate the events, we obtained the data collected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) in the storm database. NOAA has published the data for severe weather events from 1950 to November 2011.
