they call it Monte-Carlo, it seems to be a cool thing, but what you're doin is just making up some random data and estimate the interval.
Finding MLE for a Poisson regression
by calculating the gradient, hessian and loglik by hand, we can solve the betas by using newton-raphson method again. vcov = solve(-hessian). 12 age groups hence 11 dummy.
Finding MLE for logistics regression
High-dimensional Newton-Raphson method, which contains gradient matrix, hessian matrix, and uses variance-covariance matrix to evaluate the model stability.
Log likelihood
likelihood is what we actually care about, but through making it loglikelihood, it can be calc by sum and avoid underflow. In this practice, I tried to estimate the lambda by loglik func, and use newton-raphson method to find the MLE. Secondly, loglik of linear model by hand. nice to know those heavy math stuff, which often be ignored during these days.
Newton Raphson Method
For estimating the confidence interval (CI) under a binomial distribution, the typical approach involves starting with a point estimate. The Newton-Raphson method is a numerical technique primarily used for finding roots. Exact CIs refer to specific statistical methods tailored to the characteristics of the binomial distribution. These methods provide precise CIs without relying on large sample approximations. Asymptotic CIs, on the other hand, use large sample approximations and assume normal distribution, which is often valid for larger sample sizes. both could be test out by using binom package.

tried to write factor function. the only thing i want to mention is that while using the for loop to specify the colors and characters for the lines, you need to subtract the number to get the characters match.
