An exploratory analysis of how spam messages use question-type sentences to engage users. This report visualizes the ratio of question-type messages, highlights common persuasive words, and shows word connections in spam questions using a network graph.
Final Project
This project analyzes whether question-type sentences (messages containing “?”) appear more frequently in spam SMS than in normal (ham) SMS. By comparing question usage rates, visualizing frequent words, and exploring word pair networks, we reveal how spammers use questions to attract user attention and prompt actions.
