BUS AN 514 Final Project
This is the final project that Mohit, Risha and I have done for the BUS AN 514 Analytics For Firm Decisions taught by professor Hema Yoganarasimhan during my MSBA program at UW Foster.
Our goal is to calibrate the pricing strategy of retailers by understanding the drivers of demand for organic and conventional produce. By observing the price elasticity of avocados, we will have a better understanding on how to adjust our pricing policy.
Which city rains more, Seattle or Taipei?
One of the things that you heard quite often when you first move to Seattle is that it rains a lot. As a person who is from Taipei, also a city that rains a lot, I wasn't worried. After living one year in Seattle, I actually don't think it rains as much here in Seattle than in Taipei. As a data driven person, I've decided to look into historical precipitation data of the two cities and see which city rains more.
Practicum Project: International Expansion for Microsoft Financing
