This project employs logistic regression to analyze the scoring probabilities of local teams in the UEFA Champions League based on their possession statistics. By evaluating the relationship between possession percentage and the likelihood of scoring, the analysis reveals insights into how ball control impacts match outcomes. The visualizations created using R illustrate these relationships, highlighting key patterns and trends, and contribute to a deeper understanding of performance dynamics in high-stakes football matches.
