Analyzing and visualizing your health data from the iPhone Health App on your own can be time consuming. It involves emailing yourself a zip file, downloading the zip file, unzipping the file, and parsing the xml file to a usable format before you perform any type of analysis. Here I describe a way to automate the downstream processing within R once you've exported your health data from within the Health App.
