Analyzing Global Trends in Life Expectancy at Birth
This R project investigates global trends in life expectancy at birth, focusing on the disparities between different economic groups and genders. By utilizing three datasets from the World Bank—total life expectancy, male life expectancy, and female life expectancy—we aim to uncover patterns and correlations that highlight the influence of socio-economic factors on health outcomes. The analysis spans from 1960 to 2022, offering a comprehensive view of how advancements in healthcare, nutrition, and living conditions have impacted longevity worldwide. The findings are crucial for understanding the progress made and the challenges that remain in achieving equitable health improvements across diverse populations.
