Part of the Data Analysis with R certification by Duke University, this project analyzes data from the University of Chicago’s General Social Survey. Students were tasked with researching the GSS and developing a research question and hypotheses that they could test with the data. How have political views influenced opinions on social welfare spending in the United States over the past few decades, and what are the variations across different demographic groups?
