Plotting average time, vehicle count with time of day (per hour). It is clear to see that due to missing data, plotted points are not discrete but continuous across the 24 hour period.

Creating a discretized data set. Original dataset had missing and duplicate data points causing skewing along the time axis. By cleaning the data set, removing duplicates and introducing NA's it is possible to see peak traffic and quiet traffic times.

This code analyses traffic data from an A-road in Hinnerup, Denmark, over a period of 4 months. I have averaged the data to create a "per-hour" profile of average time and vehicle count along the road and overlaid this data with GoogleMaps.
