Within this document you will find a step by step guide of completing an economic experiment to measure willingness-to-pay (WTP). This document is to serve as a guide to the basics and not an all inclusive document. Note that the packages and code presented here are generally flexible enough to perform more advanced analysis. However, some advanced models may require you to utilize other programs such as MATLAB, SAS, or LIMDEP. These other programs are also better at handling extremely large data sets. I am happy to provide code and guidance if you need to pursue other programs.

This document was created for a guest lecture at Virginia Tech in the FST 5984L SS Data Analytics course in Spring of 2023. The document covers a wide range of basic experimental designs and how I have used them in various scholarly research. This document is to serve as a guide for the lecture and not an all inclusive document on experimental design.
