This project explores fatal vehicle crash patterns in the U.S. between 1992 and 2016, with a special focus on April 20 (4/20) from 4:20 PM to midnight. Using data from FARS and the #TidyTuesday challenge (Week 16, 2025), I created visualizations that compare crash counts by date, time of day, and age groups. The analysis highlights that April 20 tends to have elevated fatal crash numbers in the evening, suggesting a potential traffic safety concern. The visualizations were created in R using tidyverse, ggplot2, and patchwork.
