This project focuses on developing predictive models to analyze NBA playoff outcomes, using comprehensive player and team statistics from regular seasons and playoffs. By leveraging advanced metrics like Offensive Rating (ORTG), Turnover Percentage (TOV%), Offensive Rebound Percentage (OREB%), and Defensive Rebound Percentage (DREB%), the models aim to predict the probability of each team winning a series and the number of games it will take. The project also explores insights and improvements, identifying factors contributing to unexpected outcomes and suggesting enhancements for more accurate predictions.
