Dengue Prevention Campaign: Logistic Regression Analysis of Preventive Behaviors
This report analyzes data from a dengue prevention campaign study conducted by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. The study examines whether residents in high-risk areas implement preventive measures—such as removing stagnant water—based on their knowledge score, exposure to the campaign, and household size. Logistic regression is used to model the likelihood of preventive behavior (1 = implemented, 0 = not implemented), with predictors including knowledge score (0–10), campaign exposure (0/1), and household size (1–9). The analysis includes descriptive statistics, model interpretation, odds ratios, ROC diagnostics, interaction effects, and an overall evaluation of the campaign’s effectiveness.
