Revenue Management ML model in the hospitality industry
In this report the reader will see step by step the creation of a regression model capable of predicting a suitable ADR (Average Daily Rate) given a specific period of the year, in this case it will be weekly rates, but it can be applied to any window in time.
This model is specially made to work with small and medium hotels, the output is not a specific price, but a recommended discount or increment on the tariff, showing it easily for it to be understandable by non data specialists.
