Gabrielle Bartomeo's Data 605 Discussion 12
Using R, build a multiple regression model for data that interests you. Include in this model at least one quadratic term, one dichotomous term, and one dichotomous vs. quantitative interaction term. Interpret all coefficients. Conduct residual analysis. Was the linear model appropriate? Why or why not?

Gabrielle Bartomeo's Data 607 Week 09 Assignment
Obviously has room for improvement.
Gabrielle Bartomeo's R Workshop Week 03 Final
The assignment: Use a dataset from a predetermined list and do the following and do the following... 1. Data Exploration: This should include summary statistics, means, medians, quartiles, or any other relevant information about the data set. Please include some conclusions in the R Markdown text. 2. Data wrangling: Please perform some basic transformations. They will need to make sense but could include column renaming, creating a subset of the data, replacing values, or creating new columns with derived data (for example – if it makes sense you could sum two columns together) 3. Graphics: Please make sure to display at least one scatter plot, box plot and histogram. Don’t be limited to this. Please explore the many other options in R packages such as ggplot2. 4. Meaningful question for analysis: Please state at the beginning a meaningful question for analysis. Use the first three steps and anything else that would be helpful to answer the question you are posing from the data set you chose. Please write a brief conclusion paragraph in R markdown at the end.
Gabrielle Bartomeo's R Workshop Week 02 Assignment
The assignment: Use a dataset from a predetermined list and do the following and do the following... 1. Use the summary function to gain an overview of the data set. Then display the mean and median for at least two attributes. 2. Use the summary function to gain an overview of the data set. Then display the mean and median for at least two attributes. 3. Create a new data frame with a subset of the columns and rows. Make sure to rename it. 4. Create new column names for the new data frame. 5. Use the summary function to create an overview of your new data frame. The print the mean and median for the same two attributes. Please compare. 6. For at least 3 values in a column please rename so that every value in that column is renamed. 7. Display enough rows to see examples of all of steps 1-5 above.
Gabrielle Bartomeo's R Workshop Week 01 Assignment
The assignment: 1. Write a loop that calculates 12-factorial 2. Show how to create a numeric vector that contains the sequence from 20 to 50 by 5. 3. Create the function “factorial” that takes a trio of input numbers a, b, and c and solve the quadratic equation. The function should print as output the two solutions.
