This program evaluates the health and economics incidents caused by different weather event types during the period of 1950 and 2011 in the USA. The datasource used for this purpose is the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) storm database. Two plots show the result of the analysis: The first one shows the top 10 weather event types that caused the major health harmful grouped by Fatalities and Injuries. The second plot also shows the top 10 weather event types that caused major economic consecuences grouped by Property damage and CropProperty damage.
