By referencing two ICU outcome retrospective studies, I identified 9 variables from 758 thousands of chat events and 76 thousands of lab events and built a RamdomForest Model to predict who survives during the ICU stay with a 21.6% OOB error rate. As a beginner in Machine Learning, I am happy with the algorithm and look forward to doing more.

The purpose of this analysis is to identify patients who have diabetic complications of neuropathy, nephropathy, and/or retinopathy from clinical text notes, and it is also the course project for Clinical Natural Language Processing in Coursera.

In this project, I am interested in using data from accelerometers on the belt, forearm, arm, and dumbell of 6 participants to build a model to predict the possible 6 exercise activities. This is also the Coursera course project from Data Science: Statistics and Machine Learning Specialization by Johns Hopkins University.

Looking at the college data set, I am interested in exploring the relationship between college major category and income(outcome).

Looking at mtcars data set, I am interested in exploring the relationship between two types of transmissions cars(automatic or manual) and miles per gallon(MPG)(outcome).

I would like to investigate the exponential distribution in R and compare it with the Central Limit Theorem.

I use ToothGrowth data set in the R datasets package to answer this question. This data set contains the result from an experiment studying the effect of vitamin C on tooth growth in 60 Guinea pigs.

The analysis used the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) storm database and extracted events in the year from 1950 to 2011.
