The color of each cell denotes the average sentiment for every 10 words. The word displayed when you hover over each cell is the most emotionally charged word in that set (positive or negative).

All data come from the Endangered Languages Project https://www.endangeredlanguages.com/userquery/. I split the languages based on their endangered status, region of the world, and language family. There are further improvements to be made to the way the data are cleaned and interpreted, but this is a start.
