The goal of this project was to use the techniques I learned in my Statistical Learning course to tell a story about the FIFA 19 video game; More specifically, a story answering the following questions: 1.Can we predict a player’s general position(Foward, Goalie, etc) based on the player’s characteristics and ranking of skills? 1a.What patterns/relationships exist between players of similar rankings or of certain positions? 1b.Which skill ranking seems to have a larger impact on a player’s overall ranking? Lastly, the final piece of this project is to demonstrate the ways I have convinced myself and the reader that I have identified the best statistical learning approach to answer my questions.
