The measure of efficiency is MPG (miles per gallon), and the type of transmissions we will address are manual and automatic. We will investigate 2 main questions: Is an automatic or manual transmission better for MPG? Quantify the MPG difference between automatic and manual transmissions The study will try to use exploratory analysis to obtain a first answer to the above, then use regression to assess the certainty of such answer.

This study will explore the US NOAA storm database to answer the following: Which types of events are most harmful with respect to population health? Which types of events have the greatest economic consequences?
