I used text mining and sentiment analysis to analyze tweets sent to various Twitter users. This work is in progress and will be finished shortly.
Socioeconomic Impacts of Storm Events in the US
A brief analysis of the negative impacts storms have had on public health, property, and crops in the US from 1950-2011. The data was provided by the National Weather service, and additional documentation can be found at the following URLs.
