This analysis explores the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) storm database to investigate the impact of severe weather events across the United States from 1950 to 2011. The main objective is to identify which types of weather events are most harmful to population health and which have the greatest economic consequences. The data were obtained from NOAA's publicly available storm database. Data cleaning and transformation were performed to standardize event types and calculate the total fatalities, injuries, property damage, and crop damage caused by different event types. The analysis reveals that **Tornadoes** are responsible for the highest number of fatalities and injuries, whereas **Floods** and **Hurricanes** have the greatest economic impact in terms of property and crop damage.
