This report presents the exploratory analysis of SwiftKey text data for developing a next-word prediction algorithm. The analysis includes summary statistics of blogs, news, and Twitter datasets, initial findings about text characteristics, and outlines the plan for building a Shiny-based prediction application. This is the first milestone in creating a smartphone-style text prediction tool.
