School Shooting in the United States
Gun related violence in the United States has been characterized as an epidemic and a public health crisis with a substantial financial burden. According to the Washington Post, more than 215,000 students have experienced gun violence at 217 school since the Columbine High School massacre that occurred on April 20, 1999. This study attempts to understand the correlation of different variables behind the school shooting incidence and what variables contribute most to the number of casualties using univariate and multivariate analyses on dataset features.
