I investigate whether changes in the concentration of lead in the NYC air correlate with changes in the number of NYC 311 complaints due to lead.

Using R markdown to compare R and python for linear regression on a medium-sized dataset (~500Mb). Loading data, cleaning data, plotting data, speed, and ease of use are all compared to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each. The dataset used is the 'Climate Change: Earth Surface Temperature Data' from Kaggle.

The goal is to understand if how the opinion of Americans varies with age on the recent trade agreement with Germany. My hypothesis is that older Americans are less favourable to the recent trade agreements. The data comes from the Pew research center, which can be found at ‘http://www.pewglobal.org/category/datasets/?download=31944’
