This work takes on a data science approach to solving a problem in a LAN and exploring the usage of the network. Static IP address in the network makes the users keep on searching the entire spectrum of IP addresses to find an unoccupied one. Through machine learning, I have made a model that can help find which IP addresses will be most likely free. The data is gathered using the popular network software called NMAP.
