In this project, we will be looking at three broader tasks of data analysis and visualization applied to textual data. More specifically, we will look at Twitter data, and see methods for collecting (scraping), preparing, and analyzing Twitter data.

This is a notebook that documents my first natural language processing project, in which I scrape Twitter data on the war in Ukraine. I collect tweets using three different keywords in two different moments–at the very start of the conflict and 20 days into the war.

This notebook documents my first experience with network analysis as a method to analyze text data. The dataset for this project is composed of comments left in videos of Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro interacting with citizens.
