It's possible. Code at https://github.com/rnj0nes/MplusknitrEngine. I'm struggling with the knitr syntax. I've got a bunch of books from Yihui Xie on the way from Amazon. When coupled with MplusAutomation you get the basic Mplus input format that looks familiar, but all the reproducible features of Rmarkdown, and better data management and synthesis of R.

This is a guide to using the mplusModeler function of MplusAutomation package. It is a way to use R and Mplus interactively.
