Exploring data.gov and some new (for me) R packages.
Brief exploration of data about Texas death row inmates. First time I've mapped with R, but includes a county map representing number of counties represented by death row inmates. I'm not a fan of the death penalty, so I wanted to explore some of the details about Texas' use of it over the past 30 years.
To demonstrate Bradford's law and to work out some R code that I can later use in a more thorough bibliometric study.
