Coursera Course Project for Reproducible Research: Data from Department of Commerce • National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration • National Weather Service were be used to analyse which kinds of weather event cause the most harm within the USA. About 900,000 observations were consolidated and analyzed regarding the damage they cause. With respect to health the most harmful events are tornados, thunderstorm winds and exessive heat. With respect to economics the most harmful events are flood, hurricane and tornado.
