This R Markdown document analyzes the performance of stocks that fell sharply from the S&P 500 index. It looks at stocks that dropped 80% or more over a four year period after three reference dates: - January 1, 1999 - March 1, 2007 - March 15, 2015 It then compares the stock performance of the fallen stocks over the subsequent four years to the performance of the overall S&P 500 index in the same period.
