Quantified Me - Scraping my Fitbit to Set Some Goals
This is part two of the Johns Hopkins University Data Science program. It is a simple R Presentation pitch that represents the work and analysis completed in part 1, which was a Shiny App offering interactive features for plotting and exploratory analysis.
Regression Analysis of mtcars
Simple linear regression and general regression analysis of the mtcars dataset to attempt to identify if there is a significant statistical difference between transmission type and mpg.
Tooth Growth Analysis & T-Tests
In this assignment we explore the interaction between tooth growth and supplements.
Exponential and Normal Distributions - A comparison
Comparing exponential and normal distributions using the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem. We explore concepts of large-n size sampling from an exponential distribution and how sampling from a non-normal distribution for large-ns will eventually lead to a sample distribution that is approximately normal.
Peer Assessment 2 - NOAA Severe Weather Exploratory Analysis Report
In this exercise we compared severe weather data from NOAA to identify weather related events that caused the worst damage economically and healthywise. This was an exploration in data cleansing and cataloging and creating reproducible research.
