Analysis of NIR data from rat OA samples
Progressive OA degeneration of articular cartilage in rat induced by meniscectomy was performed for up to 6 weeks. Each week 3 samples were sacrificed and their joints extracted for analysis. NIR spectra, as well as Mankin and PG content data were obtained from the joints. This analysis correlates the NIR spectral data with the samples' Mankin score.
